4 Things you should NEVER do before closing..

CONGRATULATIONS on making an offer or going under contract on a home. It is an exciting time, but keep in mind this is just the beginning of the process. There is still much to do. Here are 4 things you should keep in mind before closing.

1: Do NOT change employment. Don't quit your job or change jobs until the property has closed.

2: Do NOT make any large purchases. Don't buy furniture, a car, boat or any recreational toy.

3: Do NOT change your marriage status- especially if you and your spouse have applied for the home loan together as the lender takes in account dual credit scores and total household income.

4: Do NOT change your credit.
